Mala Hierbia or "Bad Weed" in Spanish is an India Pale Ale / IPA by Crows Craft Brewing Co. Crows celebrates the hop in this brew without having to overwhelm. This hop-fest of flavor and aroma tips the scale at 77 IBU’s with a 7% ABV. De Puta Madre’s younger brother, Mala Herbia is a play between bittering and aroma hop variants, cascading through the brew like "bad weed" that never dies, ergo Mala Herbia, Nunca Muere!

Bottle from Smoky Bastard, Makati City. Poured a murky medium amber with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is malt, dry mineral, cardboard, light lemon citrus. The flavour is moderate sweet, light bitter with a dry malt, fresh, fruity citrus, weedy resin hop, light medicinal palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation. A decent beer that improved as it warmed and got some air, but I expected better given the price I paid.
