Cask at Lych Gate, Wolverhampton Pours almost jet black with a small beige head. The aroma was definitely chocolatey, but my nose wasn’t working correctly (got a cold) – so there may have been more. In the mouth, the initial taste is mints and chocolate, but strangely this then turns into dark fruits. Finish is also fruity, with raspberries featuring. A bit strange all told.
