Tap at the HCMC brewpub. Poured a clear dark brown with a thin broken off white head. The aroma is roasty malt, light caramel, charcoal, liqouirce. The flavour is moderate sweet with a smooth, rich, dry roasty, light ashtray, sweet caramel, light hop bitter palate. Original review text: Tap at the Hanoi brewpub. Poured a clear dark brown with a long lasting frothy off white head. The aroma is caramel malt, dry smoky roast charcoal. The flavour is light sweet, light smoky liquorice bitter with a dry roasty sweet malt, light coffee, dark chocolate palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
