There are times when you want an easy drinking beer. It’s light, a little hoppy with floral undertones and very quaffable; perfect for setting the world to right with friends.

Cask at Telfords Warehouse, Chester Lemony nose. Pours a pale greeny yellow with a small whitehead. Citrus in the mouth, lemon and grapefruit, but balanced by chesse biscuits and grass cuttings. Finish is sharp and lemony. Pleasant but instantly forgettable.

500ml bottle. Milky, orangey, pale golden colour with average, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Citrusy, minimally grassy, hoppy aroma, a spicy touch of hay, hints of lemon tea, lemon biscuit, biscuity, pale malty basis. Taste is minimally bitter, minimally citrusy hoppy, biscuity, pale malty background, hints of lemon, a minimally doughy, yeasty touch; soft, almost a bit mushy palate.

500ml bottle. Pours clear golden with almost no head. Aroma: light citrus fruits, light malts. Taste: pretty much as the aroma, light sweet citrus and grainy malts, moderate bitter finish. Light bodied, smoothish mouthfeel if a little thin. Very easy drinking, pleasant for what it is but forgettable.

Bottled 500ml (AbM, BB 03/2018)
Clear golden color, small white head. Grainy, a bit papery and honeyish aroma. Light-bodied. Light maltyness, earthy hops and overall a bit more on malty than hoppy side (even for this ABV). Easy to drink, easy to forget.

Bottle @ Molen tasting, small sample. Slight hazy golden color, short frothy head. Aroma has some flowery hops, bit dusty and grainy malt, slight hint of butter. Soft malty taste, bit bitter. Ok stuff.
