Can. Pours a hazy pale golden hue with a small off-white head. Aroma and taste of grains, bread, grass, mild fruitiness, hint of caramel. Okay.

Nothing at all wrong with this beer. It is just quite plain, standard, mild, and a bit boring. REWE Dresden bottle.

500 ml can in Frankfurt. Malty nose, lightly oxidized, caramel, Munich malts, bread, light cocolate. Decent malt nose. Cloudy amber-brown. Flavor also malty, bready, dry though, with apples and earthy and peppery hops, spicy. A bit light. Nice finish and good malt. A rather simple but decent and rather likeable kellerbier.

Pour is a murky looking tan with a large pillow of a head. Aroma is baked bread malt and some basement sulfur. Flavor is again bready malt with a very soft mouthfeel. Reminds me of drinking a English pub style ale. Nothing to really wow me here but it is a different style to try.

500 ml can. Amber orange pour is topped by a large foamy beige head. Light bready malt nose. Flavor follows nose with a hint of earthiness and toasted grain. Herbal hops in finish. Smooth and well balanced.

Can from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours a gold that's lightly tinged with copper; creamy white head. Nice caramel aroma. Possibly a little roasty. Med body. Flavor is creamy caramel with a touch of non-Nobel hop. Not dry; lightly bitter. Yet as I usually find the style, the malt is pleasing to the taste, and the low level of bitterness is not an issue. Tho Landbiers are wholly outside my flavor preferences, I love them. This is a good one.
