Small if stable off-white head over dirty copperish golden beer. Rainwater, waterplans/algae, bit cookie malts. Lightly coloured malts with a faint vegetable hoppiness. Finish is more bitter. Again some rainwater quality. Light body, light gristslickness. Decent Zwickel. Txs to Joren & friends!

(Draught at Man in the Moon, Stockholm, 30 Sep 2023) Hazy amber colour with frothy, tan head. Malty, fruity nose with bread, orange peel, apricots and herbal hops. Malty, slightly fruity taste with notes of bread, apricots, orange peel and a gentle floral/herbal bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and well balanced. Nice one.

Draught @ Red Lion Pub, Chicago. Very hazy bright yellow with a large foamy off-white head, faint acidic aroma, high carbonation, medium bitter caramel malt taste after a bit of initial sweetness, basement flavors, thin body, long finish. Tasty.

What I had was billed as Grevensteiner Kellerbier, but I imagine it was the Landbier. Sweetish, a touch gloppy, this drinks like not �berfranken. Yeah too sweet and underdeveloped.

Golden, clear with a medrium white head. Aroma of malt, bread and some corn notes. Light bitter with a mild malt and hops end. Gutersloh Holliday 2023

Servida en jarra, color ámbar dorado, algo turbia, espuma abundante y poco compacta, de escasa retención. Aroma a malta, caramelo y algo de cereal y panadería. Textura sedosa, cuerpo medio, suave, sabor muy parecido al aroma, maltosa en boca, notas de pan, miel, caramelo y nueces, amargor medio, perfil bastante discreto, se disfruta en trago largo, refrescante. La imagino acompañando un buen guiso de carne o alguna comilona abundante, hogareña y casera.

.5 l can, dated 5/7/22. Pours an almost amber color. Not unfiltered bits except some very small flecks, unless it's settled to the bottom of the can. Thick yellowish-white head. The slight softened water nose of a German beer. Taste is kind of thin and weak, though. Not a sign of age, I think. But most likely authentic to the Zwickel style.
