Sort med beige skum. Aroma sviske karamell røsted malt vanilje sjokolade. Smak røsted malt vanilje sjokolade lakris. Saftig øl. Flaske delt med Synny, Finn og Rune på Vervet

500ml bottle, beer gift from fonefan, many thanks. Shared with Finn, Synny and Lunde during a tasting session at Vervet. Pours an huge, bubbly, fawn-coloured head leaving rich lacing on the glass, near black in the glass. Smooth and sweet aromas of dark malts and dried fruits. Quite fine blended, strong taste of dried and dark fruits on a backbone of chocolate malts. Rounded, warming finish, carefully roasted. Well bodied. Pleasing. (Tromsø, 05.06.2025.)

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a deep, dark brown with an orange hue and a lacing, beige head with good retention. Estery Belgian aroma with brown sugars and a dark, dried fruitiness. Rich, sweet estery body. Dark, dried fruits and a slight roastiness with a warming finish. Delicious if not the most complex of Quads. Will probably gain with a year or two of cellaring. 020425
