In continuing our pursuit of thoughtful, well-integrated barrel expressions for some of our core Farmhouse Ales, we’re thrilled to share this special version of our Bière de Miel. BA Xenia was blended from three barrels - one of which was a neutral wine barrel along with two freshly emptied bourbon barrels - with the average age of the contents working out to 25 months at the point of packaging. Following a fresh infusion of additional lemon peel and fresh rosemary, Xenia was bottled in December 2022 with wildflower honey from Stonewall Apiary once again acting as the sugar source for refermentation in the bottle.

Bottle at home, pop something nice for thanksgiving night. Orange yellow colored brew with small soapy head. Nose is honey, wine, bourbon. Tastes of white wine, lemongrass, honey, bourbony vanilla, grains. Sweet and tart and savory. Interesting.
