Inspired by some old Brabant tradition, this beer was brewed with barley malt, raw grains and aged hops. It was turbid mashed, coolshipped, spontaneously fermented and aged in oak barrels for an average of 24 months. For this version we substituted most of the raw wheat by raw rye.

0,75l bottle at home. Bottled 12/2023. amber clear color, medium big white head. smells earthy, oak, hay, spices, minerals, very nice subtle smell. full body, soft carbonation. tastes earthy, hay, oak, peppery, leathery, herbal, flowers, tobacco, citrus, some minerals. finishes lightly dry and lightly sour and light to medium bitter with notes of lime, oak and peppery notes. very nice one.
