Cask at Ealing Beer Fest 25. Opaque chestnut. Frothy foamy off-white head. Aroma is chewy - caramel, malts berries and booze. Punchy twigs... well sorta. Boozy fruits and spice. Underlying malts. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft carbonation. Long slightly astringent finish. Enjoyable warming stuff.

Gravity cask at the 34th Ealing Beer Festival 2025, day one, 09/07/2025.
Chestnut brown topped with a beige cap that thins to the edge.
Nose is caramel wafer, biscuit malts, dried fruit rinds.
Taste comprises brown bread, biscuit, toffee, fruit rinds, herb.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close.
Tidy for the style.

440ml can from Mitchell Wines Meadowhead - slightly foggy brown body with a big white head. Lots of malt in the nose, bready cake fruit, caramel and toffee finish.
