Rivertowne Imperial Maibock

Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a dark caramel color with a medium sized foamy off white head that faded quickly and left no lacing. The aroma was tangy and a bit sour with golden fruits and caramel. The flavor was tangy, sweet and very malty with notes of honey, caramel, golden fruits, sugar, bread and a mildly boozy presence. Long tang y and sweet finish of honey, caramel and golden fruits. Full bodied. Excellent.
