Tap at Man in the Moon. Opaque peachy pink with almost no head. Very fruit forward with quite a lot of raspberry, some spices. Not very tart.

Insanely thick and creamy, milky and dare I say Smoothie-y pink and violet coloured body that looks like a smoothie or an ice cream shake more than a beer- this is crazy, without a head, but a cap of more milk and spotty, chunky pure white bits on top that look like marshmallows - this is odd! Aroma of raspberry, ginger, oats, lactose, cream, milk, sugars and a good deal of yeast notes, but also at the end a nice dose of citrus fruits, perhaps from lemons or lactobilly funk that add to the complexity of this one, but it's strong in the nose. Full-bodied, of course; Strong raspberry and strawberry notes show at first with a bunch of oaty, wheatie and just plain dense malt notes with a lot of the lactose and of course cream coming out as well, with a few chunks of seemingly (i'm not sure what they are) marshmallows coming down with a lot of sweetness at the end and an easy-going, but sweet and dense profile. Aftertaste shows the sweetness of course, but a lot of raspberry and lemon, citrus notes that give off a nice fruit vibe, some light spices come out, but this is really about the dense malts, the deep sugars and the texture with the fruits. Overall, while this isn't really what I was expecting from this on the label, I'm very pleased and will be trying to find others from this series or by the brewery, as this one is amazing and lives up to the great 'mimosa sours' of Boiler Brewery in Lincoln, Nebraska - this one is great to sample, especially in can from the [not-so-great] state of Connect-I-Cut. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, as Beer #14 (Day #18, I'm a few behind) of my 2022 [self-created] Advent Calendar on 18-December-2022, with a big congratulations to Argentina who won the FIFA World Cup 2022 today in a great final for neutrals!
