Our hearts beat for hops, as you might have noticed by now. We love new hops and new beer styles, but a classic is a classic for a reason. Centennial hops is a true classic hop for brewing a classic West Coast IPA. It was developed in 1974 and released in 1990 and became an immediate success due to its pleasant characteristic grapefruity bitterness and the fruity, floral and foremost piny and woody notes. Centennial hops are an extremely versatile hop for the classic American beer styles such as this Hoptastic Centennial-forward West Coast IPA.

Can 33 cl. Pours a cloudy, opaque orangey golden with a lacing, off-white head. Lovely piney aroma. Medium body, lightly sweet biscuit and crystal with a solid, finishing bitterness. 051125

Can from Systembolaget Sweden. Huge and long lasting white head. Clowdy golden color. Excellent complex hop aroma. Firm bitterness and distinct citrus hop taste.

Thanks omhper! Amber colour, mediumsized slightly off-white head. Aroma is floral, fruity, some nectary tones with mild wooden and some biscuity and caramel tones. Flavour is fruity, floral, some nectary, wooden and mild biscuity notes with a bit herbs and some sweet malts as well.

Canned, from Systembolaget. Almost clear deep golden, mid sized head. Sweaty, dank grapefruit aroma. Mid dry with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Piney grapefruit on crisp, clean malt. Resinous very bitter finish. Old school IPA.
