Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a caramel-brown color with a medium sized foamy tan head that faded quickly and left no lacing. The aroma was sweet, spicy, herbal and had an orange presence. The flavor was bitter and sharp orange, lemon, faint biscuit, caramel and herbal hops. Long and bitter finish that turned somewhat dry with lingering herbal hops, orange and biscuit. Medium body. Nothing really shone through but it was pleasantly quaffable.
