A special brew from Samuel Adams to celebrate American Independence Day on 4th July.
Brewed at Shepherd Neame’s Faversham brewery from a recipe devised in conjunction with the Boston Beer Company, it uses equal measures of US and UK hops.
The result is a summer pale ale with a delightful blend of grapefruit notes from the US Cascade hops and grassy earthiness from the Kent hops.

Cask @ The Alma, Painters Forsdal, Kent. A practically clear, golden body with a medium sized, fast disappearing off-white head. Delicate aroma of citric fruit and flowers. Flavor is smooth, mild, pale malty, light fruity and some bitterness. Quite light in body, but it feels right in this case. A bit short in aftertaste. A nice and refreshing thirst quencher with a light but nice flavor.
