Complex sake like flavors with malt sweet notes. Hints of strawberries in the nose and palate. An intriguing mix of sake, malt , and bitter notes in the finish.

Bottle @ home shared by Thompson. Hazy amber color, small off-white head. Smell and taste malts, something a tad weird which might be the rice then I guess? Light bitterness, light sweetness. Alright.

Bottle, 0.33l, courtesy of Leo. Aroma of berries, yeast, bread and caramel. Clear dark red color with medium soapy off-white head and average sparkling appearance. Taste starts with sweet berries and caramel, follows by candy sugar, dried fruit and bread, mouthfeel is smooth, while finish is mild grassy bitter. Medium body, slick texture and average carbonation in palate. Weird Rice’n’roll...

A red-brown beer, a head is very blond and medium. Aroma is weird, corn flakes, some caramel and rice. Taste has caramel and rice, some warming alcohol, weird. Medium bodied. Too weird, this beer is not for me.

Tap at Glens bar Jerusalem. Nice colour and interesting concept but it just doesn't excite at all. Some strawberry, some rice. Fine to drink but meh, I was really craving something better.

Pours amber with a reddish hue from the bottle. A frothy head lingers. A weird candy store aroma greets the nose—sugary and full of berries. Taste is bittersweet turning sweet at the finish. There is a light tartness and plenty of candy notes. Finishes dry with hints of caramel and milk rice. Body is medium, carbonation is average. Admittedly it does it’s thing with a level of depth and complexity that is admirable, but I‘m not a big fan of the direction.

Bottle - Pours a hazy reddish amber colour with a medium sized light beige coloured head that settled. A spicy grainy aroma, rice wine, malt and caramel. A grainy malt taste, spicy wood, rice wine with a some berry fruit flavours. Some bitterness in the finish.

15/IX/17 - 33cl bottle from Bierhalle Deconinck (Vichte) @ home - BB: V/2017 (oops) (2017-1497) Thanks to Erwin for sharing the bottle!

Clear bright red to orange beer, creamy solid yellow to beige head, pretty stable, non adhesive. Aroma: sweet, weird, sugary, floral, bit soapy, lots of banana, fruity, candy. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: very sweet and sugary start, not unpleasant though, peach flavoured candy, some raisins, more caramel. Aftertaste: pretty bitter, bit fruity, yeast, little sourish, sweet, peach candy. Decent one!

Sweet, loads of strawberry. Amazing there is none in there. Sweet, but with a dry sake aftertaste. Mostly strawberry candy, though.
