A 500 ml can purchased at a small liquor store on the main drag in Hamilton, Bermuda. Store owner was concerned that I was buying a potent beer, be careful he said. Okay, I am being careful this afternoon on my patio looking at my backyard. Flipping the top and taking a smell. Hmm, your essential pilsner scent. The taste is pleasant for the style, a jazzed up pilsner. Corn, grain, water, just a touch sweet. Nothing to be offended by or be very concerned about.

Clear deep gold. Moderate, loud, airy white head. Decent retention. Nose: faint malt, alco, esters, candy, apple peel. Not much aroma at all. But nothing disturbing. Medium body. Average carbonation. Taste: schnaps-like alcohol, malt, metal, esters, hops. Not that sweet, but unpleasantly bitter. Hard to drink. Finishing the can is quite a challenge.

Can from The Beer Shop has no Name, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a clear straw colour with a frothy, long-lasting, white head. The aroma is corn, light sticky toffee and some alcohol. The flavour is moderate sweet with a rich smooth, sweet grainy, light burning, liqourice alcohol bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. It's easy to mark a beer like this down and some malt liqours absolutely deserve it, but this was not so bad. It won't win any awards but it's drinkable and has some flavour.

This lager poured a clear golden amber colour with a bright white, soapy head. Minimal lacing. Scents include caramel, corn and paint thinner? First swig was awful. Flavours of cheap malt and alcohol. Finish had a flavour of rubbing alcohol and paint thinner. Drain pourer sadly. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A lightly hazed golden lager with a thick white head. In aroma, soapy, grassy, mineral, so-so. In mouth, a sweetish corn malt with loads of alcohol, light fruity esters, not as bad as I expected. Can from LCBO, 1 year old.

Can. A drink slowly lager given its strength, it’s more than noticeable and makes any tastes redundant. The aroma is not bad, slightly sweet. Golden with a thick head.
