The Magic Dragon is a 5.5% kettle sour fermented with over 800 lbs. of dragon fruit and 600 lbs. of passion fruit! With tastes of kiwi, pear, and watermelon from the dragon fruit, paired with tropical sweet hints of pineapple, papaya, mango, blood orange, and guava from the passion fruit. These unique fruits intermingle and create a complex flavor that makes this sour pure magic.

Reviewed from notes.
Can to tulip.
Appearance: red in color in the glass with a two and a half fingers of pink foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: kiwi, pear, dragon fruit, watermelon and guava with a light whiff of the lacto/yogurty character
Flavor: fabulous blend of the tart to sour tones of those prior noted fruits with an ample amount of sweetness coming in for a great balance; finishes tart, sour & sweet through the dragon fruit & guava vibes
Texture: light to medium bodied, good sipper, some smoothness but some tart stabs on the tongue
Overall: nicely done fruited sour ale well worthy of returning to.

Tap at Akkurat. Peachy red with pinkish head. A bit of passion fruit, some wheat, yeast, quite tart. Goes down easy but is quite short and bland.
