The recipe is a present from a friend in Denmark. Adapted to the NZ hops, and very much a beer you don't easily forget.

Bottle split at CCV, thanks to John, Cotteridge Wines 08/06/19. Murky amber to brown pour with a good sized light beige cap. Nose is tangy fruit esters, orange peel, candied fruits. Taste comprises dried fruits, toffee, mellow roast, brown bread. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. So so affair.

Tap at the Hanoi brewpub. Poured a clear reddish copper colour with a frothy off white head. The aroma is malt, light caramel, light fruit, light woody hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a crisp, dry bready malt, metallic woody hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

On tap at Furbrew, pours a hazy dark reddish brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out resinous hops and crisp bready malt. Nice balance between hop resins and bready malt. Very good stuff.
