No less than four types of Weyermann malts are combined for this rare and exciting Red Smoky, a bold treat for the curious beer lover with a discerning palate. With its amber colour and rich foam, the flavour has a distinct yet subtle taste of silky smoke with a hint of sweet raisin that lingers leisurely between sips. Barett’s Lumberjack’s Red Smoky is a drinkable walk in the forest for the chilly night.

Tap at the Craft Beer Pub, Hanoi. Poured a slightly hazy dark amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is malt, smoky bacon, some woody hop notes. The flavour is moderate bitter with a crisp, watery, smoky malt, woody, light metallic hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

330mL bottle at Le Pub, pours a clear copper with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out fairly restrained smokiness and toasted bready malt. Flavour brings out ashtray smoke, light campfire and light toasted biscuity malt. Ashtray-like smoke, not the good kind. This needs serious tweaking.
