A Czech style dark lager that is crisp and roasty, yet easy drinking. We started with a base of traditional Bohemian floor- malted pilsner malt and some untraditional German malts and generously bittered in the boil with Czech Saaz hops. The end result is a complex and roasty malt backbone with a sharp but smooth finish. Notes of baker’s chocolate and dark toast.

Draft at brewery. Number one with a bullet. Nearly opaque dark brown pour. Brief beige head. Toasted malt aroma hints. Sweet toasted malt flavor. Medium bodied. Notes of caramel and herbal hops. Tasty.

Draught at Log Jammin V: pours dark brown with a beige head. Aroma is chocolate and caramel. Sweetish, lightly bitter. Velvety mouthfeel. Quite good.
