Brewed as a participating brewery in March Mildness hosted by our favorite brewery, Forest & Main. An English style dark mild ale brewed with a base of English Maris Otter malt, chocolate rye, flaked rye, and some other flaked adjuncts to achieve the complex and deep roasty flavors and silky mouthfeel. Hopped in the kettle with traditional East Kent Goldings hops to give this beer its earthy and spicy finish. Notes of dark rye toast, toffee, and dried figs.
