Can sample at a tasting at Tom L's place. Thanks Stas. Brown, beige head. Some roast, malt, caramel, a bit of nuts, sweet, bitterish touch in the finish.

At a tasting, thanks, small stable creamy bubbly head, very deep brown color, aroma of grain manure, dark bread and a whiff of chocolate, flavor of chocolate, manure and a smokey whiff with brown bread, coming through. Not too great or interesting.

Tap at the Boilermaker House, Melbourne. Poured a clear dark brown with a thin off white head. The aroma is dry roast malt, light nettle hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a malty, grassy hop, woody, light citrus fruit palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. More like a black IPA than a stout.

On tap. Pours dark. Toast, oats, little plum. Quite bitter, not much sweetness. Body is a little thin for an oatmeal.
