Let’s hope the next one is better than the last... Kizakura No Side IPA 6% Apparently made with Citra hops and the label has me thinking this a special brew for the Rugby World Cup in Japan this year. It has a fairly strong fruity aroma like a stone fruit purée. Medium bodied and dry the beer is too bitter for me but it’s much better balanced than the Boar beer. You get fruity eaters up front then a bitter green pine flavor before a sweet fruity caramel and a decent aftertaste. Not great but passable dmd better than their other IPAs if I remember right.
