The Duvel Tripel Hop Cashmere is a Belgian IPA with a nicely balanced bitterness as you are used to from Duvel. 'Cashmere' is the result of crossing a female 'Cascade' hop plant with a male 'Northern Brewer' hop plant.
With this Duvel Tripel Hop we use aroma hop Cashmere as the third hop variety. Grown in Washington's Yakima Valley, this hop enriches Duvel's flavor palette with fresh notes of coconut, citrus, peach and melon.
To brew Duvel Tripel Hop, the brewers do not simply add a third hop, but they use the dry-hopping technique. This brewing technique means that in addition to the hops during the boiling process, extra hops are also added at a later stage of the brewing process (during the lagering process). A clear golden yellow beer with a white lacing. Aroma of strong pale malt, grains, yeast. Taste of herbal pale malt, straw, spicy hops, long bitter finish.

Alkoholischer, trocken hellmalzig-brotiger Beginn. Feine Karbonisierung, süffig, trocken bleibend. Spritzig, dann wieder alkoholischer, behäbig hopfig, mittellanger Abgang. Gelungen. 10/7/8/7/8/7

Bottle from the lcbo. Clear golden pour, large white head. Very yeasty, bright cereals, tropical fruit, banana, lemon, light stone fruit, grassy, boozy. Soft mouth feel, lively carb. Low bitterness, boozy, yeast, fruity finish. Very very grassy and green, with light fruity esters.

Bottiglia. Un arco olfattivo dominato dal luppolo. L'intensità olfattiva è elevata e la maniera in cui permane è sufficiente. Il mantello birroso superiore ha una buona tenuta. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il liquido si presenta limpido. Il colore è giallo dorato. Il corpo è strutturato. La forza gustativa è elevata e la durata è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano luppolate. Il retrogusto è intenso. Il tetto della bocca riconosce impressioni di miele, frutta secca, pane cotto di recente, luppolo, resina, agrumi, melone, frutta tropicale, limone, cocco, ananas e lime.

Аромат очень цветочный, прямо пыльца с цветов сладкая ощущается, затем солод уже, немного даже хлеба, чутка от пшеницы есть намеки, мед на ассоциации. Цвет конвикциональный для этого стиля, пенка хорошая и стойкая, беленькая. Вкус тоже на уровне, снова много пыльцы, уже больше хлеба и дрожжей. При глотке немного горчинки от хмеля, немного не стандартно для Бельгийца, явно замашка в сторону крафта. В целом хорошо, эксперимент удачный, но пил и лучше.

Bottle 0,33 ltr: Clear golden colored brew with decent dry bitter taste with hints of mango, melon, white grapes, citrus and some kiwi. This year edition is delightfully fruity.

Bottle 33 cl. Golden, smoky, good white foam. Aroma: herbaceous-citrusy hops, pear, apple, a little Soviet champagne. Taste: dry to sour, lemon and kumquat, slightly dry martini, bitter.

Bottle 330ml @ Sommerhuset. Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, floral, grass and citrus. Taste is light to medium sweet and medium bitter with a long malty, white sugar, floral, grassy and Belgian yeasty finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is fizzy.
