The Duvel Tripel Hop Cashmere is a Belgian IPA with a nicely balanced bitterness as you are used to from Duvel. 'Cashmere' is the result of crossing a female 'Cascade' hop plant with a male 'Northern Brewer' hop plant.
With this Duvel Tripel Hop we use aroma hop Cashmere as the third hop variety. Grown in Washington's Yakima Valley, this hop enriches Duvel's flavor palette with fresh notes of coconut, citrus, peach and melon.
To brew Duvel Tripel Hop, the brewers do not simply add a third hop, but they use the dry-hopping technique. This brewing technique means that in addition to the hops during the boiling process, extra hops are also added at a later stage of the brewing process (during the lagering process). 2022 bottle from Livonia Liquor. Pours a clear bright gold with a full two fingers of white foam that lingers. Big Belgian yeast notes with some light bubblegum next to loud tropical fruit aromas - passionfruit, papaya, cantaloupe melon and lime. Palate is very similar with lots of tropical fruit - mango skin, lime and passionfruit. Light tart note on the finish with lingering tripel notes. Very enjoyable.

Bottle. A clear, golden colored beer with a creamy white head. Some curtains. Perfumed, citrusy aroma with a saison-ish touch soon turning towards tripel. Hints of pale malts and alcohol. It's well carbonated and full bodied, with a good bitterness. Hop forward flavor too, lots of citrus and citrus zest. The pale malts are pushed to the back. Feels like there's more pronounced alcohol flavor here than in the regular Duvel, but it's not annoying in any way. Lasting fruity, citrusy and bitter finish. Nice indeed. 240502

Stubby bottle single from Cost Plus. Baby Duvel glass @home. Clear if jellied, medium gold pour. Tall but thin whitewashed, sticky head. Old apple, acidic & tobacco sweet nose. Earthy, sharp, heavy veggy, weak dank, veggie bittersweet finish with lots of steel & lingering white grapefruit rind. Sudsy, but not quite Duvel OG level. Solid.

Versión de la clásica Duvel con el agregado en dry hoping de la variedad de lúpulo 'Cashmere'. Catada en su tulipa, color oro pajizo, espuma blanca de muchísima menos retención y residuo que la Duvel original, pero de fácil recuperación agitando la copa. Aroma clásico de su versión primogénita con mayor dominancia del lúpulo, perfil más herbal y cítrico y menos frutal y maltoso. En boca encontramos notas de pomelo, piña, matices resinosos y cítricos con predominancia del amargor de principio a fin. En general una gran cerveza, de perfil herbal y amargo, de buena calidad, muy disfrutable, que para mi gusto no supera en absoluto la original. muy buena en cualquier caso.

Clear blonde, active carb with a thick pillowy head. Sweet lighter malt, decent resinous hops, mild bitterness that lingers with a little citrus thst shown up in the finish. Quite decent. Bottle from Carrefour Oostende.

(Bottle) Golden colour, slightly hazy, with big frothy off-white head. Hoppy, fruity, spicy nose with pineapple, clove, crisp-bread, citrus, melon, elderflower and resin. Hoppy, fruity, spicy taste with notes of pineapple, peaches, pears, citrus, melon, bread, clove, resin and a generous tropical/herbal bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Really tasty and elegant. Very nice.
