The Duvel Tripel Hop Cashmere is a Belgian IPA with a nicely balanced bitterness as you are used to from Duvel. 'Cashmere' is the result of crossing a female 'Cascade' hop plant with a male 'Northern Brewer' hop plant.
With this Duvel Tripel Hop we use aroma hop Cashmere as the third hop variety. Grown in Washington's Yakima Valley, this hop enriches Duvel's flavor palette with fresh notes of coconut, citrus, peach and melon.
To brew Duvel Tripel Hop, the brewers do not simply add a third hop, but they use the dry-hopping technique. This brewing technique means that in addition to the hops during the boiling process, extra hops are also added at a later stage of the brewing process (during the lagering process). This makes the hop aromas more intense in the final beer. Refined aromas and a pronounced hop character. With this beer you can fully enjoy an intense taste experience. Show Less

Bottle - lightly hazy gold - lively pour with a substantial, soapy head - soft texture - lightly sweet up front, but dries out through the middle - hop bitterness arrives just as spicy yeast phenolics do, complimenting each other fairly well - hope flavor and aroma is lightly tropical, moderately spicy, but also a little soapy - flinty, dry, earthy finish - well done, but the hops don’t complete do it for me.

I don’t think I’ve had this before… 400¥ from Liquor Mountain. Duvel Tripel Hop Cashmere Belgian IPA 9.5% Lovely matte brass color with a huge rocky head of foam. The aroma is Belgian spice with subtle floral elements. I really don’t know much about cashmere hops. Full bodied and smooth with a bit of a Citra-ish tang added to the Belgian spice golden ale flavor. It hit the spot and is cheaper than almost all craft coming over lately.

Best before date 12-2023. Pours a clean, bright light-yellow colour with a bubbly-soapy white head, average retention and some light foamy lacing spots all-around. Banana-wheat aromas with some alcohol, grassy-hops, straw malts and Belgian yeast, sugars. Thankfully the taste is not as sweet as expected from the nose. Big hop bitterness with the alcohol-warming and grassy-dryness that lingers. Underneath is the rest, straw-banana hints. Gets a touch hazy as it pours. Quite interesting to get such hops in a classic Belgian brew like this.

Bouteille: Pale golden, hazy, mid-sized creamy and stable white head, moderate dryish bitter-sweet ( perfumed)aroma of exotic fruits and herbs, sweet pale malt underneath; robust bitter-sweet flavour, medium to full bodied, a bit fizzy and tart; lingering bitter-sweet citrussy-fruity finish with some certain herbs underneath. Quite O.K., but the “regular” Duvel is much better…

Large foamy white head left a froth on highly carbonated pale golden body. Zesty lemon & herbal aroma. Medium bodied, sharp dry & clean. Belgian yeast, zesty lemon, herbal & sweet citrus tastes with big hoppy finish. Excellent.
