I have only encountered this brewer through beer festivals - but this time I managed to have my rating book with me. Sampled on draft at the State College beer festival this beer poured a dark black color with a medium sized frothy dark brown head. The aroma was sweet malts and hops. The body is very thick and creamy. The flavor is dry chocolate and burnt coffee. Far dryer than I was expecting in an oatmeal stout and a bit more dry than I care for.
