500ml bottle shared with Finn in the biergarten at Viktualienmarkt, München. Clear ruby brown with a filmy layer. Sweet malts dominate the vague smell. Roasted, but not burnt malt in flavour plus sweet toasty notes. Maybe a bit too sweet. Medium bodied (18.06.2007)

A copper brown colour, with a honey malt nose, and a rich fruity malt flavour. well balanced.3.4 Copper brown... Small tan head... Soft sweet malts... Soft fruit nose... Soft fruits.. Soft toffee... Nice soct juicy malt. 3.6

Bottle. Nice big light tan head with nice duration. Color is dark brown. Aroma is roast malt. Taste is sweet and nutty with roast malt.

Der Antrunk ist leicht säuerlich, vorwiegend aber röstmalzern. Das malzige Aroma wird schon im Mittelteil deutlich schwächer und ist im Abgang nur noch sehr verwässert zu erkennen. Gäbe es ein anderes Aroma, das an Stelle des Malzes treten würde wäre das in Ordnung, leider ist dies nicht der Fall. Das malzig-holzige Aroma ist schön und gut, ich hätte allerdings mehr erwartet, viel zu mild! Test vom 11.9.2006, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 13,9,9,9,14,9 - 9,65

Bottle. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Amber colour. Week but nice malty aroma. OK caramellic flavor. Average finish. Nice oily palate.

Draught. Ruby red colour, mediumsized foamy off-white head. Weak hayish notes in aroma along with malts. Caramellish malts with some roasted and sweety notes. Sticky palate.

Dark ruby red, small off-white head. Lemony hoppy nose. Crisp, light malty roasted flavor. Slightly sweet. Short aftertaste. Quite boring dunkel.

Bottle. Brown colour, hint of red. Unstable head. Metallic aroma. Sugary flavour, thin mouthfeel. Little aftertaste. Boring, but quite drinkable.

A clear red beer with a thin light brown head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel and nuts. The flavor is sweet nutty combined with some notes of caramel, and with a quite dry end.

(Bottle 50 cl) Dark brown with a tint of red. Tall - but collapsing - beige head. Extremely "dark" flavours of roasted malt with notes of both caramel and dark chocolate. Appears almost like a less potent Doppelbock. A very accessible and pleasant beer without much bitterness. 251002
