This AmeriCAN take on the Belgian Classic Wit, featuring orange peel and coriander spice emanated from the basement blues music legacy Dave McIntyre (Oskar Blusologist) built at the original Oskar Blues Grill & Brew in Lyons, CO. On draft for over a decade, Priscilla’s zesty citrus and light fresh baked bread aromas mix with spicy, fruity fermentation. Light bodied with a subtle savory spice accent and a dry, lightly tart finish you can nearly feel the flicker of the neon and sounds of the King. White Wit Wheat.

Can. Golden / yellowy coloured beer with a strong white frothy head. The aroma is citrusy with some ginger and yeastiness. The flavour is bitter with citric and spice notes and a dry finish. Overall a nice but average wheat beer.

(Can, 0.355 l - canned on 24.04.2017, at Bar Bronco 2, 20171005) The beer poured pale golden and lightly hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, spiciness and coriander. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, coriander, sweetness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was fruity, hoppy and bitter. A decent hoppy witbier.

Tap at Hair of the Dog, Phrom Phong, Bangkok. Poured a hazy straw colour with a frothy white head and some broken lace. The aroma is grainy malt, light banana. The flavour is citrus, light acid with a crisp grainy malt, yeasty bitter aromatic hop, light spice palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Somewhat light and not particular memorable.

Can, from TW Reno. Lively aroma of citrus, wheat, and spice. Crisp and refreshing. Flavors of citrus, orange peel and lemon, with more spice. Wheat and yeast screams witbier. Really flavorful and light bodied... a great summer offering perfect for cans. Makes me wish I was on the river.

Gulbrun lett tåkete med lavt beige skum. Lukter banan, gjær og urter. Middels minus i fylde. Søtlig banan, hvete, noe syrlig sitrusig, gjær og noe fudge. Middels lang, kommer urter, pepperig utover.

I believe this should be categorised as a witbier, but that’s just me. Hazy orange coloured body with a straw glow and a nice, if fast-dying pure white head, only a centimetre tall. Aroma of pure coriander seed, wheat, curacao, full oranges, bubble gum and another dose of dryer, lighter yeast and coriander seed freshness. Light-bodied; Strong yeastie flavour with some bread and curacao at first with the oranges hitting hard along with the coriander seed freshness. Aftertaste shows some nice mellow grassy notes, a touch of bread and yeast and finishing with citrus, having the oranges and curacao the strongest. Aftertaste fades to a very easy-drinking, nice spicey kick along with the freshness from the yeast and coriander seed. Overall, a nice wit with a good character and smooth complexity, especially near the end. Nice to sample and great to have in a can! I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Colorado Liqour in Colorado Springs, Colorado on 02-July-2016 from my boss - Thanks Jeff! Sampled at home in Washington on 02-june-207 two days before heading back to Colorado!

Can as pictured. Had a mellow witbier aroma about it. Was hoping for a mild wit bier as described on the can but its another wheat ale fer sure. Good co2 sizzle throughout. Does look like a wit bier, but the taste is quite forward, a somewhat irritating ale effect; bitter, slightly medicinal, yah know? In the end it does come across almost refreshing but never quite gets there.
