This AmeriCAN take on the Belgian Classic Wit, featuring orange peel and coriander spice emanated from the basement blues music legacy Dave McIntyre (Oskar Blusologist) built at the original Oskar Blues Grill & Brew in Lyons, CO. On draft for over a decade, Priscilla’s zesty citrus and light fresh baked bread aromas mix with spicy, fruity fermentation. Light bodied with a subtle savory spice accent and a dry, lightly tart finish you can nearly feel the flicker of the neon and sounds of the King. White Wit Wheat.

355ml can into shaker. Bought at Oldfields Cellars, Gosford. Pours a hazy amber with a thin frothy white head. A few bubbles. Aroma of bread, spice and fruit. Full bodied, slick mouthfeel. Finish is ripe bananas, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg. Great beer, beautifully balanced with late dry pepper.

Can from Beer52. Hazy light yellow with a thin white head. Smells of ground coriander and bread. Tastes of coriander seed, white pepper, banana bread and a hint of lemon with a strawberry bubblegum sweetness in the finish. Definitely a cut above the average wheat beer, but maybe a little too sweet by the end.

Pour is a clear but hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma is some spicy yeast esters and a definate corriander. Flavor is a bit fruity, a lot bitter for the style and it has a chewy malt base. Smells better than it tastes but still a decent no frills wit.

Canned on 08/11/2016, a tad overdue, but au contraire, here’s the rest and better than I was worried about.
Poured into a mug, the appearance was a semi-ruddy/burnt yellow color with a thin finger’s worth of white foamy head that sustains nicely and ends up dissipating at a nice pace. Moderate carbonation could be seen rising.
The aroma has a sweet wheaty, semi-citrusy, low spicy (coriander-esque), Belgian yeasty esters and then a touch of bubblegum.
The flavor leans sweetly through the previous mention of those aromas and the coriander seems to only compliment nicely. Clean sweet wheaty biting / semi-bubblegum sort of aftertaste sliding into a quick wet sweet finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation feels fairly low. Nice crisp wheatiness lays down on the tongue.
Overall, another witbier by an American brewer coming to what I say \"session standards.\" Good for what it is and I would prefer to have again in the Summer, but honestly, doesn’t compare to it’s Belgian counterparts. Though, I could have again for me.
