12 ounce can from Woodman’s Menomenee Falls, 8/27/16. Hazy yellow, thin fizzy white head, poor retention. Aroma of wheat, orange, mild coriander. The taste is lemon, orange, wheat, coriander. Medium bodied, lingering spice, fairly traditional.

Sampled from the tap at All Pints North. Pours a near clear light yellow gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of flora, sweet grains and a bit of light fruits underlying. Flavor is sweet with what supported by light fruits and floral notes.

12 oz. can. Pours hazy gold, with a medium, off-white, persistent head. The aroma is banana candy, lemon cream, butter toffee, and saaz hops. Sweet and chock full of esters, with a light bitterness. Light body, leathery, chewy, and clean. This is a fantastic, balanced, and thoroughly aromatic witbier! I’m impressed.

12oz can from Beer52.com. A slightly hazy pale amber pour with a loose white head; yeasty aroma with some sour grains; rather sweet in the mouth with some cinnamon and coriander adding warmth; and perhaps a touch of orange zest in the finish, but too sweet overall, and lacking the freshness of the Belgian originals.

Draft imperial pint at Sport Restaurant. Celebrating the 11th Bengals touchdown of the year. Who Dey! Pours a shiny golden color with a thin foam head. Served with an orange slice. Sweet, fruity wheat based aroma. Flavor is typical American hefe like, a lot of sweet, fruit heavy, wheat, creamy body. Soft spice impression finish. Not a flavor I’m completely sold on, but light and moderately refreshing. Not bad.

Draft @ Taproom, Malmö. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity wheat malty spicy weak yeasty aroma. Fruity wheat malty spicy weak yeasty flavor. Has a fruity wheat malty spicy weak yeasty finish with weak hints of citrus.

Poured from a 12 oz can with a canning date of 08/12/2016. Aroma has medium light wheat notes w with moderately strong orange peel and coriander notes. Some light peppery phenolic notes as well. Pours a slightly cloudy, bright yellow gold with a medium large, medium thick, frothy, white head that recedes fairly quickly to a thin film that lingers on the edges. No lacing or legs. Flavor is similar to the aroma with moderate wheat notes and some moderate sweetness. Light bread notes. Moderate orange peel and coriander. Medium to medium low bitterness. Hint of acidity from the orange peel with some light peppery phenolic notes. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with medium high carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a nice wit, but a style I find pretty boring. Crisp, clean and easy drinking.

Can. Lemon/orange, coriander, wheat malt, and straw aroma. Golden yellow with moderate head. Moderately sweet citrus, coriander, wheat malt, and lightly bitter straw flavor. Good body. Nice.
