This AmeriCAN take on the Belgian Classic Wit, featuring orange peel and coriander spice emanated from the basement blues music legacy Dave McIntyre (Oskar Blusologist) built at the original Oskar Blues Grill & Brew in Lyons, CO. On draft for over a decade, Priscilla’s zesty citrus and light fresh baked bread aromas mix with spicy, fruity fermentation. Light bodied with a subtle savory spice accent and a dry, lightly tart finish you can nearly feel the flicker of the neon and sounds of the King. White Wit Wheat.

Keg at Flying Saucer, Houston. It pours hazy yellow - gold with a foamy white head. The aroma is bready, wheat, cracker, fruity vibe, banana bread and light coriander. The taste is bitter - sweet, wheat, bread, cracker, light spice, coriander, lemon peel and banana with a dry, bready finish. Medium body and moderate, velvety mouth - feel. A solid wheat beer, but it doesn’t really stand out from the crowd. Drinks easy though.

12 oz. can purchased at Beveridge Craft Beer & Soap Company. Mildly hazy yellow color, some spotty lace down the glass. Aroma shows a good amount of citrus without spice.
Fairly thin body. Light and crisp taste with a citrus peel and nice wheaty body. Has a citrusy aftertaste with a little spice bite. Coriander is mild and not overdone. Nicely refreshing Wit beer without any flaws.

Can/Fest. A- Corn husks, slightly sweet, passion fruit, wheat. A- Yellow color, cloudy liquid, white head. T- Wheat, citrus. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, wheaty finish. O- Pretty good. A little off smelling but easy drinking.

Can: Clear, light gold with a tight, white head. Sweet wheat malt, banana bread aroma. Taste is rich and sweet, wheat malt, banana. Nice body, almost chewy.....creamy, smooth and packed with flavour....very enjoyable.

12 ounce can into pint glass, canned on 7/1/2016. Pours lightly hazy pale golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of lemon, orange zest, coriander, pear, apple, pepper, clove, light banana, wheat, bread, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance of fruity/earthy yeast. spices, and pale malt notes; with good strength. Taste of lemon, orange zest, coriander, pear, apple, pepper, clove, light banana, wheat, bread, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light herbal bitterness, yeast spice, and tart/tangy wheat on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, orange zest, coriander, pear, apple, pepper, clove, wheat, bread, and herbal/yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice robustness and balance of fruity/earthy yeast. spices, and pale malt flavors; with a nice malt/spiciness balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Minimal dryness. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, fairly creamy/grainy, and slightly sticky mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.2%. Overall this is a great witbier! All around great robustness and balance of fruity/earthy yeast. spices, and pale malt flavors; very smooth and refreshing to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Out of a can clear yellow golden with a big frothy white head and clingy web like lacing Very soft pale malt flavors and aromas a bit adjunctish and plain. Only a hint of the wit character not very interesting I must say.
