Bottle from the brewery. Pitch black, no head to speak off. Strong alcohol nose, some wood and some blackcurrant. Pretty sweet start, sticky and syrupy. Hint of bitterness and some roasted presence in the finish. Some walnuts later on. Moderate aftertaste. Alcohol is nicely hidden, some warming presence with lots of delay. Medium body, silky. Not bad at all.

0.375l cork top bottle, brought by Leo. Aroma of rum, roasted malty, chocolate and dried fruit. Pours cloudy dark brown color without any head, carbonation and lacing. Taste starts by sweet chocolate, licorice and rum, following is dried fruity and woody, mouthfeel is warm alcoholic, while finish is mild bitter. Full body, sticky texture and flat carbonation in palate. Too sweet, but still hell of a good…
