Cask at the Post Office Vaults, Birmingham. Poured a crystal clear straw colour with a bubbly white head. The aroma is skunky malt, yeast, light melon fruit. The flavour is moderate to light bitter with a light watery yeasty woody hop bitter palate. Light to medium bodied with soft carbonation. Really light bodied and with no backbone. Little flavour in the palate or the finish other than some rather unpleasant hops. Salopian can do better than this. I’m rather disappointed to see this on sale.

Cask @ Salopian Bar. Pours clear gold, small white head. Aroma is smooth, fruity, mango / apricot. Taste is smooth, with soft exotics, grassy with floral nods. Low bitterness. Punches above its weight for 3.9%. Decent.
