Sample at the Tiger Brewery, 6%. Smooth malty beginning. Quite dry with a nice full body. Caramel, smooth malt, roast with not too much sweetness. Nice and round with a dry but not too sweet malty but roasted finish. --- Beer merged from original tick of ABC Extra Stout on 21 Jul 2023 at 23:56 - Score: 6. Original review text: Grainy beginning. Fruity mild with a sticky toffee back. Roast, caramel, hints of bitterness, very viscous. Nice.

Can shared at a tasting at Max’s place. Thanks Alexey for this can! Singapore version, 6%. Black with a big tan head. Aroma of malt, roast, caramel, nuts, a bit of coffee. Sweetish flavor, roasty, with malt, coffee, caramel, a bit of nuts, and a bitterish ashy finish. Medium-bodied. A decent Foreign Stout.

Bottle from Brian picked up in Cambodia/Chiang Mai area. 6.8% Brewed in Vientiane, Laos. Served in a snifter. A dark cola looking brown pour has a thin quickly dissipating head. The aroma is deep rich plum, figs and toffee and candied fruit. Very intense dark fruit aroma. Medium-thin bodied, possibly a bit too thin. The taste is savoury, dark fruits, then bitter dark chocolate, a touch roasty, soy and coffee grinds. Really interesting and quite a tasty stout from an unexpected part of the world~!

Can thanks to Cuso. Aroma is plain, but honest. Has real dark malts, roasted, chocolate, light capuccino. Pitch black colour, light brown head. Taste is straight-forward alcoholic, but also really roasty and bitter. After all, I like it - which comes as quite a surprise.

Many thanks for this can to Manslow (Marian Słowik). Thanks for a gift. Brewed and Canned in Myanmar. Puszka 0,33 z Birmy. Dobre foreign Stout o pelnej palonosci i opiekanych tostow. posmarowanych musem z pieczonych jablek. Piana o kremowej konsystencji ciemno bezowa, spora i trwala. Kolor gleboko czarny nieprzenikliwy. Tresciwe sycace. Ale nie bylo ciezkie jak sie spodziewalem. Srednio ciezkie, a alkoholu sie nie wyczuwalo. Swietna robota. Jak na piwo egzotyczne to super robota, nawet jak nie jest to Craft Brewery.
