The chocolatey, roasty dark grains of a porter marry with rye spiciness and a wisp of smoke to produce a beer of unmistakable character. Heavily laden with malts from the peerless Weyermann maltings in Bamberg, Germany, this beer brings warmth and comfort to dark, chilly nights. Pull a chair up to the fire, find some good cheese and enjoy.
Smooth chocolate and dry, roasty coffee give way to an earthy beechwood smoke. Full, velvety mouthfeel and a lingering peppery finish.

Can from Valhalla’s Goat. Hazy dark brown body with a thick tan head. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of black coffee and smoky bacon. Flavour of espresso and cranberry. Medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. A really interesting beer - slightly smoky with a berry finish.
