345ml bottle. Opalescent, orange, golden colour with small to average, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Minimally grainy, pale malty and slightly grassy, hoppy aroma, minimally doughy, yeasty overtones, not much to specify. Taste is mildly bitter, minimally fruity and grassy hoppy, minimally grainy, pale malty basis with low residual sweetness, a touch of yellow apple; minimally mineral finish.
Watery texture, smooth, simultaneously minimally dry palate, medium, dense, prickly carbonation.
Nothing wrong, but quite anaemic - so-so.

Pleasant, mellow pale ale. Zesty, tropical fruit, a little dry hop, melony and slightly floral finish. Fine but not memorable.

Mainstream take on a tropical pale ale. Not much more to say than that. Blah

From a 355ml bottle on 18/9/2018, a day after trying the underwhelming Lazy Yak. Pours a clear light golden with the tiniest of heads. Has a very slight nose with just some muted fruitiness. The same goes for the flavour - some light fruit sweetness against a sweet malt background, with a very gentle hint of bitterness at the back. Light bodied with average carbonation. What can I say. A fair bit worse than Fat Yak, a touch better than Lazy Yak, marginally better than your typical macro pale, but an inferior APA.The label describes it as a 'fresh and fruity tropical beast'. That is utter bullshit.

Tap at the Birmingham Hotel, Melbourne. Poured a crystal clear straw colour with a thin white head. The aroma is malt, light citrus hop. The flavour is moderate to light bitter with a yeast, light fruity, grassy hop bitter palate. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. A little light and lacking flavour but what flavour it had was decent. Don’t understand the earlier super low ratings.
