Mild Ale is a mid-strength ale that delivers full-bodied flavour. A rewarding, sessionable brew, Mild Ale's smooth malt character is balanced by double hopping with Pride of Ringwood and Saaz hops.

Bottle. Straw colour, thin head. Mettalic grassy hop aroma. Thin, watery and fizzy. Unpleasant taste - watery with a harsh finish. A shockingly bad beer from an otherwise competent brewery.

Pours amber with a small creamy head.Nose is faint but includes some cardboard-like malt with a little toffee. Fruity Coopers yeast also noticeable.Flavours follow along the same lines but also include some traditional grainy Aussie malt and metallic Pride of Ringwood hops. Seems to be lacking in any backbone.Body is ridiculously watery.

Bottle. Cloudy orange, fading off-white head. Mild sour wheaty aroma with some weeds (dandelion leaves). There’s a tiny bit of citric sourness but the taste is mainly bland sweetness. Fizzy mouthfeel helps the watery mouthfeel a bit. Gentle but agreeably dry finish. I suppose this is a mid-strength golden ale rather than a mild, but there you go. A good choice if you have to drive - there’s some character here at least.

Bottled. Muddy mustard yellow, small creamy head. Subdued malt aroma. Dryish and very light bodied. It seems there is not enough gravity for Cooper’s lovely malt character to come through. Instead it gets slightly metallic and has some simple crystal malt flavours with dusty hops on top of it. Low bitterness. It does to allright as a simple low alc thirst quencher, but I had higher expectations.
