Reddish colour and tiny pinky head. Dry cherry, Belgian yeast spiceyness in the aroma. Medium-bodied. Cherry but not overly sweet. Spiceyness, white pepper with banana dominates. Quite light for 12% but otherwise solid effort.

10 ounce at the brewery - served in a half pint glass rather than a tulip - fail - cherry additions in strong beers are always hard for me, as they so often taste like cough syrup - this one tries, it really does - when cold it definitely has the cough syrup vibe happening - but as it warms that settles a bit - rich caramelized maltiness, brined cherry, light Belgian yeast spice on the tail end before a warming finish - it’s decent.
