SÅRT - a dark and rounded Imperial stout with caramel rye malt, molasses, and a carefully selected blend of roasted malts. We've turned up all the ingredients to provide a rich and drinkable experience. A firm bitterness from Azacca, Fuggles, and East Kent Goldings hops helps to balance the roasted malts and licorice notes from the molasses. This beer comes in 3 variants: a non-barrel-aged variant, a variant aged in a recently emptied bourbon barrel from Wild Turkey distillery in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, and the last variant is aged in a rum barrel from Skotlander Rom in Pandrup. After barrel aging, all variants are "dry-coffeed" with generous amounts of organic coffee from the Bukonzo cooperative in western Uganda, roasted to perfection in Hinnerup by @madsensmokka. Developed in collaboration with Bryghuset Double Jensen.

Sample at Havnens Vin Og Tobakhus, forårssmagning 2025. Pours opaquye black whith small brown head. Aroma is intense raisins, prunes, malt, syrup, coffee, blackberry, and black English winegums. Taste is very sweet, and light bitter. Body is oily. Finish is long, rich and mostly sweet with notes of roasted malt, raisins, prunes, syrup, coffee, chocolate and wine gums. Very nice.
Appearance: +1 for the nice label
