The aroma is a blend of bourbon-soaked plums, dates, and raisins, complemented by notes of toasted rye bread, toffee, and portwine. The palate is both sweet and dry, warming, full-bodied and almost liqueur-like. Layers of dried fruit, coffee, raw cocoa, and tobacco take center stage, while the bourbon warmth lingers in the aftertaste. A deep and rich barley wine offering a complex depth of flavor.

A clear very dark brown beer with a tan lacing. Aroma of whiskey, dried fruits, strong dark malt, raisins. Taste of strong dark malt, coffee, whiskey, dried fruits, some vanilla, boozy finish.

Flarra utan PQ efter jobbet . Ja här finns kola samt bourbon och svagt choklad . Lite madeira . Mild är den??? konstigt då 14.5% ?! Bra öl men inte i fasen så bra som många andra från bryggeriet . Sa jag mild smak ?

great barleywine, bit sweet, velvety, quite complex but also quite straight with not much from the barrel except bourbon notes. great sipper.

Opaque colour, tiny beige head. Aroma is toasted, sweetish with toffee and portwine, light soya sauce. Full-bodied. Sweetish, plum, toasted malts, portwine, berries, toffee, bourbon in the flavour. Hides ABV reasonably well. Good and complex.
The aroma of Bourbon is excellent, creamy, smooth, very rich, chocolate and cacao nibs, a bit on the high abv side, still great stuf this black barley wine.. gonna sip this for a while now..

Smell of raisins, bourbon, rye bread. Cloudy brown colour, miniscule beige head. Aroma of rye bread, oak, bourbon, toffee, booze. Soft carbon. Very sweet.

330 ml bottle. Pours a very dark brown with short fizzy tan head that settles quickly. Aromas of caramel nougat, raisins, sweet bourbon, a bit of chocolate fudge and toasted malts. Flavors brown sugar, raisins, bourbon and toasted malts. Quite warm and sweet, but still very good.

Alkoholischer, malzig röstiger Beginn, süß. Cremig, Kakao, deutliche Herbe, würzig. Kakao, bitter, langer Nachgeschmack. 11/9/10/10//10
