Below The Salt is our velvety stout brewed with maple syrup and sweet potato. Below The Salt was mashed with English pale, caramel, chocolate, and oat malts, as well as flaked oats and roasted sweet potatoes. This Stout was hopped in the kettle with Tettnang and East Kent Golding then infused with grade A maple syrup. Below The Salt was fermented cool with our house pub ale yeast.

16oz can from Tavour. Near black pour, fizzy beige head, fine ring around the glass. Roasty malty aroma, chocolate, sweet, bitter. Taste is sweet, chocolate, very subtle maple notes. Faint bitterness is edged out by the sweetness at the finish. Almost thick feel.
