Urban Family crafted today’s refreshing Italian Pils to commemorate 5 years at their Seattle taproom. They used a pale grain bill, fermented it with Lager yeast, and gave it a delicate dry hopping of Tettnang and Mandarina Bavaria.

Grassy Noble hop nuances flow through the biscuity malts, blooming into hints of jasmine, lemon zest, and gooseberry. A whisper of piney resin flickers in the back end before it all finishes dry.

Aromas are spice, malt and dry grain. Flavors are similar to nose, bittersweet and add in some herbal. Good carbonation and body. Mildly bitter finish.

Can from Tavour. Pours lightly translucent gold with an aroma of grass/spice/light citrus. Med body. Dry and moderately bitter. Flavor is light crackery malt supporting grass/spice and some citrus that might be orange. Nice brew.
