Draft at Udomsuk tap takeover @ 2203, Bangkok. Poured a hazy light amber with a thin round bubbly white head. The aroma is sweet malts, strong alcohol. The flavour is moderate sweet with a rich smooth oily malt, super alcohol bitter palate. Medium to full bodied with flat carbonation and an oily mouthfeel. My first Thai Eisbock and the last beer of the night. I’m not sure if I’m gonna complete this rating before I collapse on my phone. Thankfully I’m not at my PC or I’d wake up with "QWERTY" stamped across my forehead. I’m kinda questioning the reasons behind an Eisbock right now. It’s always the last "beer" at a tasting and quite often the reason why we have to ride the beer bicycle home and wake up with a super sore head the next morning. It’s beers like this that keep up the sales of cheap paracetamol. But hey, as far as Eisbocks go, it’s fine. My first Thai Eisbock ever. I should be celebrating. Don’t I get a badge or something? Right now all I can think of is how much water is there in my room and do I have an adequate supply of paracetamol for the morning? Really didn’t need a pint of this 🙄
