“Yu-Su Blonde” is a lively and refreshing twist on the classic Blond Ale, enhanced by the bold addition of yuzu. This Japanese citrus fruit is prized for its tart, aromatic zest, which imparts a unique brightness to the beer. Combined with a robust malt backbone and a subtle rye spiciness, the yuzu elevates the flavor profile, creating a perfect harmony with the tropical and fruity hop notes from Simcoe and Nelson Sauvin. Amarillo hops bring hints of orange and grapefruit, tying the entire flavor journey together. Vibrant, crisp, and unmistakably refreshing.

Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Bright yuzu aroma with strong citrus character, soft yeasty notes. Moderate sweet with a mild bitterness. Nice and fruity, good if you dig yuzu fruit.

Can. Slight hazy dark golden with creamy head. Indeed some yuzu, sweet malts, yoghurt, creamy dough, caramel, soft yeast. Medium sweet, light bitter. Creamy medium bodied. Not really a blonde, more a creamy rye ale with yuzu. Quite OK.
