12oz can, from a local Trader Joe's. Poured an almost crystal clear dark yellow color with a small white head. Doesn't look hazy at all. Aroma was malty, with some hop, maybe some citrus? Honestly, not sure how old this one is, the beer does rotate pretty quickly, so this can't be that old. Flavor was more like a pale ale or maybe a more malt-forward IPA. Wouldn't classify this as hazy at all.

355ml can from a local Trader Joe's (to my daughters place), drank in Laguna Hills on 20th April 2026. Only a light haze to my dull golden pour, off white crust on top. Malty front with a hop bitterness that doesn't quite 'cut the mustard' for me. OK, but it came across as a cheap supermarket beer, which sadly it actually is!

Too-sweet citrus notes wading in a sea of diacetyl. Very bad. Go for the Trader Joeβs Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups instead.

Undated can drunk 6/28/25.
Not very hazy (minimal), with a copper-amber color. Large, off-white head, good retention.
Soap and oxidation. Lots of oxidation. More floral than anything. Minimally fruity with grassiness, grapefruit and pine. Caramel and toast and more oxidation. Literally zero NEIPA elements.
Flat flavors with little complexity. Simple white bread-like sweetness with zero bitterness and not much more in the way of hop character. Oxidized, yet highly carbonated indicating brewing flaws (shocking, I know). Just an absolute chore to drink more than a few sips.

12 oz. can from Trader Joe's in Orlando. Pours a hazy orange gold color with an off-white head and great retention. Fair lacing. Faint grapefruit and light hops aroma. The flavor also has very light hops and very light grapefruit notes but it does have a strong bitter finish. Other than the hazy and cloudy look, I would call this more of a regular IPA and not a hazy IPA. Medium body and medium carbonation. Medium+ bitterness. It is a lot better than their regular Boatswain IPA, but that's setting the bar pretty low low. At least it's inexpensive.

Can from WI. Hazy golden-amber colour, steady white head and some lace. Resiny but bready aroma. Medium-bodied. Resiny flavour, some caramalt, a bit of breadyness. Decent.
