This decadent brown ale pays homage to Belgian and Scottish brewing tradition. Dark chocolate, plum and raisin notes sit at the forefront with a hint of wood character and ends on a crisp finish thanks to floral and earthy Saaz hops.

Tap at the Ho Chi Minh brewpub. Poured a hazy dark brown with a thin off white head. The aroma is sweet malts, red berry fruit. The flavour is moderate sweet light bitter with a rich, warm, fruity, light floral hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Somewhat unusual but highly drinkable. One of the best beers I’ve enjoyed from HoD.
