PSBC’s first lager is a traditional style Austrian style beer. This beer is made mostly of Vienna or as it is known in its homeland, Weiner malt. Designed to be crushable, the wonderfully roasty malt notes are balanced by a touch of noble hops that fade into whispers of spices. Dare you to have just one.

On tap at Rogue Saigon, pours a deep dark amber brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out sweet caramel and bready malt. Flavour is likewise very malty, with sweet caramel, bready malt and a little toffee. Very sweet for a Vienna, but nice and robust. Solid stuff.

Tap at the HCMC brewpub. Poured a hazy copper colour with a whispy white head and some broken lace. The aroma is malt, molasses. rich aged fruit. The flavour is moderate bitter light sweet with a smooth, rich, metallic, fruity, hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
