A black beer with a dark brown head. The aroma has notes of alcohol, chocolate, coffee, and roasted maly. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, chocolate, and coffee, leading to a bitter finish.

Tap at CBC 2016, Red session. Poured almost black with a round bubbly light tan head. The aroma is rich roasty sweet malt, vinous notes, red berry fruit, some molasses and alcohol. The flavour is moderate sweet with a rich, oily, earthy fruit, alcohol palate. Full bodied with flat carbonation.

Draught @ CBC 2016, Copenhagen. Pours pitch black with a tiny head. Aroma of vinous berries, raisins, wood, oak, roastiness and syrup. Taste is sweet, sticky and heavy with some syrup, wood, oak, berries and vinous notes. Finish is smooth, slightly roasty and sweetish with some oak, wood, vinous berries and syrup. Interesting.

Tap@ CBC 2016. Reddish brown color with a thin off white head. Grapes, rye spicy like aroma. Flavor has grapes, roasted malt, whiskey warmth. Good. Different.
